Campaign identity and graphics for a Strava challenge launched in 10 countries in Europe and North America
APPROACH
I processed Arc'teryx photography using open source 3D tools to sample photo colour bands and produce colour fields which nod to motion blur. Experimenting with the software I found that refining the colour sampling process produced motion reminiscent of the world flying by looking out of the windows of Japanese bullet trains from a recent trip. Replicating the process produced 10 different motion colour fields for each of the ten countries participating.
RESULT
327,558 runners joined the challenge on the Strava app, from North America and Europe but also from places like Afghanistan, Ukraine, and even Antartica. Run events were organized around the world.
